The Gas Condensate from the high pressure separator flows through a throttling control valve to a low pressure separator. The reduction in pressure accross the control valve causes the condensate to undergo a partial vaporization referred to as Flash Vaporization.The raw natural gas from the low pressure separator is sent to a “booster” compressor which raises the gas pressure and send it through a cooler.

Gas condensate, like oil, is produced by drilling a well at the site of occurrence of organic rocks. Distillate of gas condensate, produced in oil fields, has an unstable shape. In addition to hydrocarbons C5 and higher, it contains gaseous methane-butane fractions. In order to obtain a gas condensate from this composition, which would be stable and suitable for use, thorough purification from impurities and removal of gaseous fractions from the composition is carried out.
1. Gas condensate – fuel.
Gas condensate serves as raw material for obtaining reactive, boiler and diesel fuel. Gas condensate, which price is lower than the price of diesel fuel, is recommended only for tractors and other low-speed transport, because the engines of modern diesel vehicles require better feeding.
To increase detonation stability (and increase the octane number) antiknock additives are added to the gas-condensate.
Sale of gas condensate without special filtration is reasonable only in the warm season. To ensure that such fuel is effectively used in cold weather, it must be purified from paraffins.

Treated sulphurous gas condensate is rich in aromatic hydrocarbons, olefins and other monomeric compounds that are used for the production of plastics, synthetic rubbers, fibers and resins.

The South Pars/North Dome field is a natural-gas condensate field located in the Persian Gulf. It is by far the world’s largest natural gas field.[1] Iran and Qatarshare ownership of the field.[2][3] According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), the field holds an estimated 1,800 trillion cubic feet (51 trillion cubic metres) of in-situ natural gas and some 50 billion barrels (7.9 billion cubic metres) of natural gas condensates.[4] On the list of natural gas fields it has more recoverable reserves than all other fields combined. This gas field covers an area of 9,700 square kilometres (3,700 sq mi), of which 3,700 square kilometres (1,400 sq mi) (South Pars) is in Iranian territorial waters and 6,000 square kilometres (2,300 sq mi) (North Dome) is in Qatari territorial waters.[6]
